The four-day residential Strategic Capacity Building Workshop, held from 18 to 21 April 2026 under the MiRiDeW Phase II Project, has successfully concluded. The workshop was jointly organized by the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) and the International Labour Organization (ILO), with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

The workshop brought together representatives from National Coordination Committees (NCCs), including participants from GCC and Malaysia, NRNA Executives and Secretariat staff. The primary objective of the workshop was to strengthen the capacity of NRNA’s NCCs and Secretariat team, with a focus on enhancing institutional effectiveness, leadership, and coordination mechanisms. The initiative contributes to ongoing efforts to promote safe, orderly, and dignified labour migration and to strengthen support systems for Nepali migrant workers.
