The Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) is promoting unity, harmony and mutual co-operation among the Nepalese living abroad by indulging in various professions and entrepreneurship, and is using and mobilizing their skills, technology and entrepreneurship for development of Nepal and our communities. The Non Resident Nepali Association has helped to spread the original culture and goodwill of Nepal to the world by promoting  Nepali Language, culture, tradition, artwork and literature abroad and will continue to do so. It is participating in the country’s prosperity with  capital investment, promotion of technology and business knowledge, skills and abilities acquired abroad. The Association has offered humanitarian assistance during major disasters including the 2015 Gorkha earthquake and Covid 19 epidemic.
The citizenship-related queries which has constantly been raised by Non Resident Nepalese is now focused on being acknowledged, which will facilitate the movement of Nepalese, protect their property and help them continue their socio-cultural connections with Nepal. For this, it is necessary for everyone to work together.
Currently, the Non Resident Nepali Association is discussing and working on various issues, among which the core issues are the provision of citizenship, voting rights as well as the implementation of the Social Security Fund for the future of Nepalese who are employed abroad.
The eminent motto of our association “For Nepali by Nepali” is a good example of a popular saying,” To serve the sons of the Mother is to serve the Mother'”. Our greatest duty towards the Motherland is to create a national consciousness among the people, we should unite and strengthen the country by sticking to grassroots work and make use of the wide international network that we have at our disposal. To think of the prosperity of the Motherland is to think of our own prosperity.
Development is about growth and helping to grow different aspects, as together they create further growth. Development is vital in today’s society as it affects every aspect in everyday life. The goal of the NRNA is the overall development of our motherland, Nepal.
This is to mention that as per the change of time, not only have the problems changed, but the way in which problems are addressed has changed as well.
There is a famous saying that goes, “Remember upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all”, which tells us the fact that we are all interconnected and we can only deny this fact for so long until we cannot anymore.
No matter which part of the world we reside in for what time period, we will always be Nepalese by heart. Because, “Yo Man ta Hamro Nepali Ho”.
