What is an all-hands meeting?
An all-hands meeting also called a town hall – is a regular, company-wide gathering where all leaders, members, employees, and well-wishers meet to discuss the most important company-wide matters for initiating or celebrating success.
This can also be concentrated on any one core issue.
The all-hands meeting can be organized at the departmental level or regional level and can be converted to a global level. By doing so, each region can create a space to go deeper into topics that might be too granular for the entire company.
The meeting can be done face-to-face or through video conferencing tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
The goal of an all-hands meeting is to:
Share updates of the past month, quarter or year and plan for the future
Drive alignment among all for the mission and strategy with focused task and mechanism
Celebrate milestones and the people who made them possible to promote an acknowledging culture
Give everyone a chance to ask questions or suggest ideas
Start the campaign in a well thought and well-planned manner
